Place-based Learning and the Future of Our Oceans
It is common knowledge that our oceans are in extreme danger but most of the public is still not spurred to action. The current communication strategy of ocean conservation needs a change. Are there other strategies to galvanize our global community to action? This panel will discuss how new forms of engagement with the public could provide a fresh new take on the ocean conservation and spark action. Panelists will engage in an extended Q+A to allow audience members engage in a problem solving/brainstorming session based on the presentations.
