Here's a link to some of the books and book chapters I've written on Amazon.com.
People ask, "who do you work for?"
The simple answer is: water.
Water is my client. I've worked for water for most of my life in one way or another: lifeguard, pool man, marine biologist, wild water advocate, communicator, author.
The Blue Mind Life team also works with a wide range of organizations, businesses, agencies and individuals to tell the new story of water. Yes, you could say that we work for water. Water is our client.
The old story is outdated, you could even say it's dangerously incomplete. Water, waterways, and oceans are undervalued and whenever anything or anyone is undervalued, bad things happen.
As our client, we seek to share water's new story as far and wide as we can, We build networks, generate new research, and compile the best science and then we share what we learn widely and wildly.
Usually what's missing from water's story relates to the cognitive, emotional, psychological, social and spirtual benefits of waterways and oceans, the "blue mind" attributes. Those have been ignored, downplayed, or discarded in favor of the important economic, ecological, and educational aspects.
Water makes life possible, of course. But it also makes life worth living. Healthy, clean waterways and ocerans are also medicine - both for physical and mental health - for those who need it most.
Blue Mind LIfe is leading a revolution in our thinking about the true value of water and we invite you to get involved.
