Baja’s Cabo Pulmo National Marine Park will be featured on Animal Planet’s Get Out There! On June 22nd at 8 pm and 11pm EST.
"Get Out There!" transports American families on VIP nature tours into stunning wilderness areas to see an amazing array of wildlife. Guided by biologists, each family ventures into the backcountry to learn about wild animal behavior in America's top national parks and other spectacular locations.
Thirteen year-old Parker Ellis, a video-game junkie at the beginning of the trip to Baja concluded “this trip has done a lot of things to me. I think I'm going to be going outside a lot more when I get home.”
Tune in on Thursday and join the whole Ellis Family as marine biologist, Dr. Wallace J. Nichols along with a team of local experts and conservationists, takes them on an unforgettable adventure. The group gets close to whales, sea turtles, dolphins and manta rays, snorkels Cabo Pulmo reefs and hikes to nearby waterfalls.
“What’s so great about this show is that it’s about regular families having the time of their lives doing eco-travel”, says Nichols. “Caring for special places and animals begins with each family. The kids’ lives are changed forever.”
