In 2010 Susan R Macdonald was diagnosed with APBD in an advanced stage. To combat this disease which compromised Susan's ability to walk and created painful contractions in her hips, aqua therapy treatments were suggested by patient nurse advocate Celeste Tubman. The results were amazing, her pain went away immediately and Susan progressed with her abilities, falling was not an issue in chest deep water. After a year of progress Susan could travel overseas again with her husband. Aqua Therapy added years and much happiness to the couple, despite the adult onset of A.P.B.D.. The film was made to help others who are struggling to find ways to support their loved ones with the rare APBD disease.
