I did this same exact trip back in October, and it was life-changing. We got to work alongside scientists and conservationists, setting the turtle nets, catching the turtles, tagging and measuring them, and then setting them free. What a wonderful experience! The setting was spectacular, and the food was delicious and fresh from the ocean. We also got to enjoy our dinners with a beautiful sunsets, complete with dolphins only a few hundred yards away!
You will spend two nights camping at a sea turtle research station in beautiful and safe Magdalena Bay in Baja California Sur, Mexico. You’ll help local researchers measure turtles, collect data, and return them to the bay. This trip also includes two nights in La Paz, all meals, private transportation, taxes, and orientation.
