Broadly, the topics that interest me are water, wellness and wildlife -- with a healthy dose of wonder in the mix.
Specifically, I'm interested in learning about how others are creating common knowledge and changing conversations - and the world - for good.

The workshop will be led and facilitated by Dr. Wallace "J" Nichols, author of the bestselling book Blue Mind, water visionary, boundary busting scientist, and leader of Blue Mind Life. Dr. Nichols will bring in many experts, researchers, and practitioners and guide participants on a wide range of field trips to help provide a stimulating and thought-provoking experience as we explore the human connection to both wild and domesticated waters.
There are a limited number of seats available on a first-come, first-served bases, so be sure to secure your spot today!
Blue Mind is Freakonomics meets "Your Brain on Water", and refers to the cumulative cognitive, emotional, psychological, social, and spiritual benefits of healthy waterways and oceans. This essential body of work enhances conversations about conservation and restoration by exploring the relationship between the human mind and water. Blue Mind principles continue to have direct implications in the nine major WET HEARTS sectors we work with:
We'll examine each of these sectors through the Seven Ages of Water: Birth through Death. Particpants will learn from a combination of class time, field trips, practical applications and build their own personal and professional toolboxes. Our text book will be Blue Mind, supplemented by a daily reading list provided by guest speakers as well as unreleased sneak-peak draft text from the new book Live Blue: The Seven Ages of Water.
The Blue Mind Experience is timely and relevant, building upon a large body of work already put forth by Blue Mind Life, Dr. Nichols, and the greater Blue Mind network of researchers and practitioners. Because it is so important to share this information far and wide, a significant portion of the course will be recorded and livestreamed, resulting in the production of high quality video content to increase accessibility. Participants who complete the full requirements will receive a cettificate of completion. We will work with students to help them obtain independent study credits and with professionals who seek continuing education units (CEUs).
A reminder, there is a limited number of space available on a first-come, first-served basis, so be sure to reserve your spot today!
