Broadly, the topics that interest me are water, wellness and wildlife -- with a healthy dose of wonder in the mix.
Specifically, I'm interested in learning about how others are creating common knowledge and changing conversations - and the world - for good.

The annual dinner helps raise vital funds to support the research and conservation work of Fins Attached. While the 2019 gala will has featured guests from different backgrounds, they all have one thing in common, the goal to save our seas and sharks across the globe. Special guests include: American actress, Hayden Panettiere; Irish/American filmmaker, Michael Nash; New York Times best-selling author, Wallace J. Nichols; shark behaviorist, Dr. Peter Klimley; Goldman Environmental Prize winner, Randall Arauz; biology scientist, Dr. Mauricio Hoyos; and parents of the late friend and supporter, Rob Stewart, Brian and Sandy Stewart.
The day will be divided into two parts for attendees. The afternoon will begin with an educational symposium with a range of guest speakers, many from the above list. The evening will commence with an open bar drinks reception before moving onto a three-course dinner with wine and an inspiring keynote speaker, Dr. Wallace J. Nichols, who will address the evening’s audience with his own personal take on sharks, our oceans, and our planet.
“We expect a wonderful turn out for this year’s Gala,” began Fins Attached Founder, Dr. Alex Antoniou. “Thanks to our supporters, Fins Attached has gone from strength to strength, and we’re incredibly excited to have such impressive guests join our cause. Having Ms. Panettiere step up and speak out about our oceans can help us take our message to a much broader audience. Saving Our Seas from a Mile High will be a night to remember for all of our followers and supporters.”
Tickets for the grand event are now available, with a limited run on a buy one get one free special offer. The gala will include silent and live auctions to raise funds in support of the mission. Auction items include exotic trips, scuba equipment and much more. Sponsorship opportunitiesfor the gala are available, with sponsor benefits; sponsors can invite 10 guests for their table including sponsor recognition in all the associated advertising and publicity.
