On the 100th day of our 6th Annual Blue Mind Challenge—Labor Day and the unofficial end of summer in the US—we are thrilled to publicly announce our 2020 Blue Mind Action Fund.
We are offering signed books and blue marbles to any project, organization, agency or business that puts Blue Mind research into action to fill a need—such as an educational or outreach program for students or adults, a fundraiser for an adaptive surfboard, water birthing tub, field trip scholarships, float spa sessions, books for schools, libraries and nature centers, or simply to make the gift of books to those who need them most.
We understand the need for resources far outstrips our capacity, but we work hard to help close that gap, as always.
Preference is given to non-redundant, creative and novel projects that demonstrate an understanding of Blue Mind science, a clear need, and project impact.
Requests of up to 100 books (5 cases of 20 books) will be considered along with blue marbles and stickers.
The deadline for applications is November 10, 2019. Decisions will be announced by December 10th, and books shipped immediately.
The Blue Mind Action Fund is a 501c3 fiscally sponsored non-profit project of LIVE BLUE at The Ocean Foundation.
