Here's a link to some of the books and book chapters I've written on Amazon.com.
I once heard a story that it took forty days and nights to cover the entire Earth in water.
With your help we should certainly be able to raise the funds we need for our 6th Annual Blue Mind Summit in that much time!
Through the Blue Mind Fund we are changing the way people think, feel, act and talk about water. We are describing the science and practical actions related to the cognitive, emotional, psychological, social and spiritual benefits of healthy, wild waterways and oceans.
Our annual summits are the backbone and heartbeat of that effort. All who have attended through the years will tell you how unique, inspiring and important this growing conversation is.
The funds we raise are used for students' and NGO leaders' scholarships and to cover travel, room and board of our amazing panelists.
We've got forty days and nights to raise $40k starting now!
Please consider donating, attending the summit, joining us as a sponsor, sharing this campaign with your network and/or getting in touch with another creative way to participate.
["Forty Days & Forty Nights" is also a blues song recorded by Muddy Waters in 1956. Called "a big, bold record", it spent six weeks on the Billboard R&B chart where it reached number seven.]
UPDATE: It literally hasn't stopped raining here since we launched the challenge!
Thank you so far to: Carroll Harrington Design, Gloria Olimpio, iReslab, jetBlue, Journey Mexico, Ocean Revolution, Peak Teams, SLOWCOAST, Smart Fin, Sustainable Surf, and The Ocean Foundation, for diving in!
