Wallace J. Nichols, Co-Director of OceanRevolution.org, speaks about the Earth being the "ocean planet." The oceans comprise 71 percent of the Earth's surface, he notes, so when addressing global warming or environment in general, the state of the oceans--and there are big problems--is critical.
