Animal Planet: Get Out There! Cabo Pulmo

This Animal Planet series, Get Out There! equal parts natural history, travel and reality TV, follows deserving families on extraordinary behind-the-scenes animal journeys to national parks in Alaska, Hawaii the Badlands, Costa Rica, Mexico and many other destinations. Each episode transports American families on nature tours in stunning wilderness areas to see an amazing array of wildlife. Guided by biologists, each family ventures into the backcountry to learn about wild animal behavior in North America's top national parks and other spectacular locations.

One episode featured Dr. Nichols and Baja sea turtles in Cabo Pulmo National Marine Park, Baja California Sur, Mexico

Thirteen year-old Parker Ellis, a video-game junkie at the beginning of the trip to Baja's Cabo Pulmo National Marine Park, concluded, "This trip has done a lot of things to me. I think I'm going to be going outside a lot more when I get home."

Tune in and join the whole Ellis Family as marine biologist and Pro Peninsula Director of Conservation Science, Dr. Wallace J. Nichols joins the local community conservation group Amigos para la Conservación de Cabo Pulmo, A.C. and a team of local experts and conservationists, to take them on an unforgettable adventure.  The group gets close to whales, sea turtles, dolphins and manta rays, snorkels Cabo Pulmo reefs and hikes to nearby waterfalls.
