“Live like you love the ocean” is a request — perhaps a demand — made by visionary marine biologist Wallace J. Nichols, as described in the December issue of Outside magazine. And who better to respond to it than those of us whose lives are inextricably intertwined with the ocean, surrounded by salt water and mostly dependent on the ocean for our livelihood, directly or indirectly?
