Last week, Discover Boating hosted national media on the water in Sag Harbor, N.Y. for a two-day immersion in the boating lifestyle. Dubbed Summer Boat Camp, participating media 'campers' took part in a number of hands-on boating experiences to generate coverage for the boating lifestyle, including learning to wakesurf; fishing and preparing ceviche with local angler and chef of NYC's Grand Banks, Kerry Heffernan; cruising with Dr. Wallace J. Nichols, author of the bestselling book Blue Mind to experience firsthand the wellness benefits of being on the water; demoing a variety of boats and personal watercraft; and more.
