#BlueMind marbles are one of the best teaching tools I've ever used.
Simple and adaptable, analog and portable, scalable and personal. I use blue marbles to teach gratitude, neuroscience, oceanography and astronomy. They are also a wonderful way to discuss the "overview effect", especially when a spaceship or planetarium isn't handy.
When coupled with science, personal conversations and media like this short film...the possibilities are endless.
