We are proud to announce the 10th Annual Sustaining Colorado Watersheds Conference, hosted by the Colorado Watershed Assembly, the Colorado Foundation for Water Education, and the Colorado Riparian Association. This conference, taking place in Avon, CO from October 6-8, 2015, works to expand cooperation and collaboration throughout Colorado in natural resource conservation, protection and enhancement by informing participants about new issues and innovative projects and through invaluable networking! 

In 2015, the conference will focus on what is needed to help ensure long-term sustainability for river health, public education, and organizational management.

• A packed agenda with a lot of interesting talks from accomplished speakers on a variety of topics focused on long-term sustainability. 
• Two thought-provoking plenaries to open the conference - the first on defining resiliency in Colorado communities and the second on a case study in the Yampa. 
• A captivating Keynote Address by Wallace J. Nichols, author of Blue Mind, followed by a book signing by the author. 
• Our first evening-only poster session on Wednesday from 5:00 to 8:00pm.
• A screening of The Great Divide, a documentary film about the timeless influence of water in both connecting and dividing an arid state and region. The screening will be followed by a Q&A session with the film's producer, Jim Havey.
• Another exciting field workshop at Camp Hale on Thursday morning.
